Clients We Serve

Our clients range in size from large companies who have a self-funded medical plan to small and medium size employers who offer a fully-insured plan to their employees. Our partnerships with several health insurance companies provide small to mid-sized employers with easy access to our services. Large employer groups (with at least 100 employees) have the benefit of being self-insured with access to our PPO and TPA services.

Extensive Network

SOUTH CENTRAL Preferred, through our SOUTH CENTRAL Preferred and PrimeSource Health Networks, gives members more choices through access to one of the most comprehensive networks in south central Pennsylvania. Nearly 95% of healthcare providers in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties participate in our network which consists of over 6,150 physicians and other clinicians, and 16 hospitals. In addition, we participate with other regional networks and have national networks available for employees living and traveling in other states.

Competitive Fees and Discounts

Employers benefit from significant savings that are achieved by carefully negotiated fees from providers and healthcare facilities. Additional savings are also achieved by our low administrative fees. As a result, our rates compare very favorably to other carriers.

Clinical Expertise

Medical management services are provided by our employed team of registered nurses, a clinical pharmacist and a physician as our full-time Medical Director. Our nurses ensure timely and efficient delivery of care by evaluating both inpatient and outpatient services, reviewing policies, and using national and local standards to measure provider performance. The team analyzes and recommends proven, evidence-based strategies to control medical and pharmaceutical costs and improve patient outcomes.
